What is AgentStream?
AgentStream is an online community where travel agency professionals gather to share their knowledge and experience with each other.
How does AgentStream work?
Member profiles are at the core of the capabilities provided by AgentStream. By updating their profiles, members inform others in the community about the work they do and their experiences in travel.
Surrounding the member profile system are three major components. The first is an easy-to-use question and answer center. Through Q&A, conversations among members evolve to form a rich knowledge base. As the volume of both member profile information and Q&A grows, AgentStream employs a sophisticated matching capability to match new questions with members most likely to have a helpful answer.
The second component is the ability for members to form groups. Members who desire ongoing conversations with their peers around specific topics can create their own groups ranging in focus from the highly specific (e.g, a single destination or type of travel) to the general (e.g., running a successful small business). Group topics are limited only by the imaginations and interests of AgentStream members.
Finally, a note posting component gives members the ability to leave messages for fellow members. In addition to being fun, note posting is also a great way for members to foster a sense of connection and collaboration with one another.
Why should I use AgentStream?
The business of travel is seemingly in a constant state of change with new challenges and opportunities arising daily. In an environment like that, no single person will have all the answers. But in a large online community comprised of travel agency professionals with many years of diverse experiences, it is highly likely that someone will have an answer to every question. Being able to find that someone when you need them is what AgentStream is all about.
